Three new aerial tramways will be built in Georgia’s capital city, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said at today’s government meeting.
These locations are Samgori-Vazisubani, Akhmeteli-Temka and Sameba-Makhata Mount.
"Many people are moving about these locations and I am sure these routes will a good transportation means like the subway, buses and mini-buses," Agenda.ge cited him as saying.
According to the mayor, technical and economic study will take five months and about 750,000 GEL (more than $278,2) will be spent on it.
Kaladze added that the technical and economic study will reveal which of the three locations are a priority and where the project should start first.
