Locusts will not intervene in the World Cup in Russia, the first deputy head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Dzhambulat Hatuov, assured.
According to him, the fight against this insects is conducted annually, a set of measures has been developed that allows reducing the consequences from locust attacks to a minimum. Regions are ready for it, chemicals are purchased, detachments for air and ground handling are formed.
