Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin will discuss the issue of the creation of a Russian air base in the country.
Lukashenko himself stated this today, on the day of presidential elections in Belarus, RIA Novosti reported.
Lukashenko informed that the country does not need military bases of other countries on its own territory, but Minsk, according to him, needs the armaments for the defense of the western borders of the state.
