Belarusian President Aleksander Lukashenko has congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on his birthday, the press service of the Belarusian leader reported.
"Your consistent efforts, hard work and dedication are the basis of the significant progress that Russia has made in building a powerful and independent country. You belong by right to the ranks of the world leaders of our time, enjoy great authority and influence in the international arena," the message of greetings reads.
The Belarusian head of state expressed confidence that deeper integration within the Belarus-Russia Union State and the Eurasian Economic Union would further develop the two economies and promote the wellbeing of the two nations, and would become a significant contribution to security and stability in the Eurasian space.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Vladimir Putin strong health, wellbeing, support of like-minded people and success in the implementation of plans.
