MP of the European Parliament's eighth convocation Janusz Korwin-Mikke has approved the act of the French parliamentarians who visited Crimea in July, and he plans to visit the peninsula, Izvestia wrote on Friday.
"I believe that the visit of the French parliamentarians to Crimea was the right step, because it acknowledges the current legal status of Crimea, because the peninsula truly became a part of the Russian Federation. I am in favor of such a trip and I will try to carry it out, but, unfortunately, I'm busy until October 25 in connection with my election campaign," the deputy told the publication.
According to the Polish politician, he intends to discuss the opportunity to visit Crimea after the end of the campaign with his colleagues from his party.
