The MICEX index has surged by more than 3% to 2073.26 points in the course of trading on the Moscow Exchange on Thursday setting a new historical maximum, TASS reports.
The previous maximum in the history of the Moscow Exchange was set on September 8, 2016 at 2063.12 points.
