German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas urged Georgia's opposition and government to resolve the issues through dialogue.
"We are watching closely ongoing processes in Georgia," he said at a conference held together with his Georgian counterpart Davit Zalkaliani in Berlin.
The German diplomat expressed hope that the sides "start a dialogue to resolve the problem." "If we can contribute to this process, we will be happy to do so," 1tv.ge cited him as saying.
In addition, Maas noted that German relations with Georgia are very close and trustful.
