Today, French President Emmanuel Macron, re-elected for a second term, officially took office for a five-year term, his inauguration took place at the Elysee Palace.
The ceremony lasted about an hour and a half. During the celebration, Macron was declared Grand Master of the Order of the Legion of Honor, which marked the beginning of his second term, RIA Novosti reports.
