Maduro calls on Rouhani to fight for justice in oil market

President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani have held telephone talks. Maduro called on Rouhani to promote the adoption of measures to restore oil prices on the world market.

He expressed the opinion that it is necessary to take measures to protect the oil market and to establish "fair and stable" prices. In this regard, Maduro called to hold a meeting of OPEC members to develop a strategy which would stabilize prices for hydrocarbons. 

Maduro also congratulated Rouhani on the cancellation of the international economic and financial sanctions.
