A magnitude 3.7 earthquake hit western Turkey, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center said.

The epicenter of the earthquake was located 51 kilometers north of the city Balikesir. The seismic center was located at a depth of 10 kilometers.

There have been no reports about victims or possible damages.
