Libyan media reported today about the elimination of Salah al-Mascoutah, the leader of a criminal gang engaged in transporting the illegal immigrants to Europe. Al-Mascoutah along with his guard was attacked near a medical center in Tripoli.
According to Gazeta.ru, another eight people were killed in a firefight. Although Al-Mascoutah's guards were armed with Kalashnikov rifles and the attackers only with pistols, none of the latter was killed.
