According to the statement of the government of Adjara, the crossing of the Turkish-Georgian border at the Sarpi checkpoint is currently unavailable, due to the maintenance work at the customs on the Turkish side.
”Unfortunately, once again the maintenance work became a hindrance to the movement of citizens. This is especially sensitive on Saturday and Sunday, because of the increased flow of people entering Georgia," Sputnik Georgia reports
