A hurricane is expected in the Volgograd region. The hurricane will bring heavy downpours, thunderstorms, hail and strong winds, rescuers warn.
This evening, a weather Armageddon is expected in the Volgograd region, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region reports.
“According to the Volgograd Central Department for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, by the end of July 3 and on July 4, in certain areas of the Volgograd region, heavy rains, downpours combined with thunderstorms, hail and wind gusts up to 20-25 m/s are expected,”
- the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Volgograd region informed.
Rescuers calls on residents of the region to observe safety measures and, if possible, not to travel by personal vehicles, even not to leave the house at all.
