Dagestan's capital is preparing to host the Caucasian Games, which have already become a tradition for the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District.
These games have taken place in Stavropol Territory, Chechnya and Karachaevo-Cherkessia. This year the competition is to be held on September 27th in Makhachkala. The main site of the event will be the Trud Stadium, as well as the Gorky Russian Drama Theater.
According to the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic, competitions in mini-football, armwrestling, wrestling, hopping biathlon, archery and other kind sports will be organized in the framework of the Caucasian Games, the portal of the North Caucasus reports.
