Makhachkala’s ex-mayor suspected of accepting bribe of 74 mln rubles

Former Makhachkala Mayor Magomed Suleimanov is accused of accepting a bribe worth tens of millions of rubles. He is currently on the international wanted list.

The criminal case against former Makhachkala Mayor Magomed Suleimanov has been transferred to court in the capital of Dagestan, Tatyana Golubova, Senior Assistant to the Dagestan Prosecutor's Office, informed.

"The Dagestan Prosecutor's Office has approved the indictment in the criminal case against Magomed Suleimanov, former acting head of the Makhachkala city district, who is on the international wanted list. He is accused of accepting a bribe and abuse of office,”
