Air Malta is launching Malta-Tbilisi flights starting July 4, according to the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency (GCAA).
Flights will be carried out every Thursday by an Airbus A320 type aircraft.
"These seasonal regular flights will be carried out until September 18, 2019," Agenda.ge cited a spokesperson from the GCAA as saying.
A spokesperson added that Air Malta plans to increase flight frequency next year depending on how commercially profitable the current season will be.
The GCAA granted a permit to Air Malta on June 14, 2019 to carry out regular air service between Tbilisi and Malta.
