The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict must be resolved within Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and on the basis of UN resolutions, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said at a joint press conference with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Federica Mogherini.
Mammadyarov noted that one of the biggest challenges which Azerbaijan is facing is the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
"I briefed Mogherini about the latest discussions with OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs. The conflict must be resolved first of all, based on territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. It is a must for all member states to implement UN Security Council resolutions," the minister stressed.
The top diplomat added that visits of agents of illegal puppet regime installed in occupied Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan to EU countries is of great concern.
"There is no military solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," Mogherini said in turn, stressing that the conflict should be resolved by political means in accordance with international law.
