Azerbaijan has no problems with the financial support of arms contracts with Russia, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov stated in an interview with 'Kommersant' newspaper.
He noted that there are no problems with payments, and the information that there are unresolved financial issues between Russia and Azerbaijan in this connection is incorrect.
"We pay everything in accordance with the contracts. There are problems with their execution: in the sense that the arms, which come to Azerbaijan, must meet technical parameters set by the contracts," the Foreign Minister said.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, "visited Baku in order to understand what are the problems, associated with these parameters, and received a full explanation, there are no questions left," Mammadyarov explained.
