Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov addressed the third meeting of the OIC Contact Group on September 24. He stressed that Armenia continues the occupation of Azerbaijani territories, grossly violating the norms and principles of international law.
The minister noted that by doing so. it shows disrespect to the requirements of the UN Security Council, resolutions of the UN General Assembly, decisions of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), as well as the positions of the world countries.
Mammadyarov noted that Armenia constantly creates obstacles to the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, at the same time, refuses to conduct negotiations aimed at results, resorting to various provocations, tries to aggravate the situation and strengthen the occupation in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
