The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia received a report on Wednesday that a man was drowning in Lake Sevan, nearby Chkalovka village in Gegharkunik Province, and rescuers were needed, News.am reports.
A special water rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.
The dead body of V. A. (born in 1969) was taken out of the lake by locals efforts.
