Man shot dead in Yerevan

A man was shot dead today in Yerevan. The police received a call at around 12։45am that there was a dead body of a man at the yard of a house.

The police arrived at the scene, where they found the dead body of 50-year-old Amen Parsadanyan.

According to the preliminary conclusion, the man had died of gunshot wounds - one to his heart and the other to his leg.

The police investigative department launched a criminal case into this incident, News.am reported.

The victim's neighbor 42-year-old Yerevan resident Armen M has been detained on suspicion of committing a crime. The preliminary investigation is still in progress.
