Departing Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has been offered a job as the new Russia coach.
The Russian Football Association has targeted the 62-year-old after coach Leonid Slutski promised to depart on Monday following Russia's 3-0 defeat to Wales at Euro 2016.
Pellegrini has been offered a "millionaire" two-year contract to manage the country until the 2018 World Cup, The Mirror writes.
The Chilean has ended his three-year stint at City having claimed one Premier League title and two League Cups during his time at the Etihad.
Despite having a managerial career than spans nearly 30 years, he is yet to foray into the international game.
