Baku is a beautiful city, which hosts beautiful competitions, Russian gymnast Maria Sergeyeva, who won four medals at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku, said in an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza.
"I think this tournament went well for me. There were some mistakes, but it's a useful experience. Coaches were satisfied," she said.
"Baku is a very beautiful city, and tournaments here are also beautiful, both when it come to arena and conditions that the AGF provides," she stressed.
The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup is being at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on April 27-29. Some 127 gymnasts from 26 countries are participating in the tournament. Depending on the results of the qualification, the winners of all-around and the participants of the finals in individual apparatus in both types of programs will be determined. Athletes will compete for 8 medal sets.
