Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will participate in the multilateral meeting on the Syrian settlement in Vienna, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, said.
She noted that he will fly to the Austrian capital on Thursday afternoon.
According to her, the meeting will be attended by Iraq, Iran, Egypt and Lebanon and other countries, and also the UN special envoy Staffan de Mistura.
"The Russian minister will have a chance to talk to his foreign counterparts on the sidelines of the multilateral meeting," RIA Novosti cited Zakharova as saying.
