The Russian Foreign Ministry's official representative, Maria Zakharova, stated today that the double terrorist attack in Ankara requires the the entire world to unite in the face of the common threat of international terrorism.
"Russia's proposals on the formation of a broad anti-terrorist coalition on the basis of compliance with international law are well known. The tragedy in Ankara reaffirmed the highest priority of the fight against terrorism and its numerous structures in the region, the need for joint efforts by all regional and extra-regional partners," her statement on the Foreign Ministry website says.
Zakharova stressed that the Ministry strongly condemns this monstrous action and expresses condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
