In the first place she noted that the Russian delegation's work in Ankara will continue after the talks between Foreign Ministers Sergey Lavrov and Mevlut Cavusoglu.
"Answering all questions about mediation, I emphasize once again that we always welcome any pragmatic mediation coming from the desire to resolve or participate in the resolution of some problem," Zakharova said.
"We proceed from the nature and effectiveness [of initiatives], but we always welcome any constructive mediation, and we always say about it," the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman emphasized.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told a joint news conference with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu that Russia is ready to cooperate with Turkey on unblocking grain exports from Ukraine.
