During the FIGH Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku the Azerbaijani national team tested the programs it will use at the upcoming European Championship, which will be held under updated rules, Azerbaijani gymnast Marina Nekrasova, who won the bronze medal in floor exercises, said in an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza.
"Overall, the finals went pretty well. I did what I can during vault exercises, but what I showed was too easy, so I came fourth. Floor exercises were great, I came third. It was a new program, and I'm glad that I could try out everything. Some things were successful, some weren't," she said.
The FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup is being held in Baku on March 16-19. Athletes from 23 countries will compete for 10 medal sets.
