The achievement of an agreement between Tehran and international group of 'six' on Iran's nuclear program became "a step forward" for the world, vice-president of Iran, head of Environmental Protection, Masoumeh Ebtekar, stated in an interview with the BBC.
According to her, MPs of the Iranian parliament will review this agreement in the coming days. "You can hear different voices in this internal discussion – some have criticized the document, some have totally rejected it," Ebtekar noted, adding that in general "the majority of Iranians view it as a successful step forward."
"I think that Iran has stated very clearly that it intends to comply with this agreement," the Iranian vice-president said. And there's a lot of evidence that Tehran "follows its obligations in the international arena," she added.
