In Karelia, members of the AviaPoisk Karelia detachment found three mass graves with the remains of eight fighters - natives of Azerbaijan, Chechnya, Mordovia, Karelia, Novosibirsk, Yaroslavl, Penza regions, as well as the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the media report.
All the Red Army soldiers died from wounds in the 339th separate medical battalion in 1944. The burial place was lost after the war. However, some time ago it was found in the Suoyarorvski district of Karelia, 15 km from the border with Finland.
