Former US Assistant Secretary of State for the South Caucasus, the former US ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza has welcomed the participation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at the Munich Security Conference in an interview with a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza.
"It is wonderful that President Aliyev will participate in this most prestigious annual conference on security in Europe,'' he said.
The former diplomat also commented on the reports about the forthcoming meeting of Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and the OSCE Minsk Group and expressed doubts that it would have any noticeable impact.
