Matviyenko ready to visit Damascus

Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko has informed about her readiness to pay a visit to Syria with the head of the Russian parliamentary delegation. 

She informed about this during a meeting with the chairman of the National Council of the SAR, Mohammed Jihad al-Laham, that took place in Geneva at the meeting of the Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

The Syrian Speaker invited the head of the Federation Council to visit his country. ‘I'm ready,’ Gazeta.ru  cites Valentina Matviyenko.
