The only purpose of the Russian campaign in Syria is to destroy the terrorist group Islamic State. This statement was announced today by Speaker of the Russian Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko, at a meeting with President of the Senate of the National Assembly of Jordan, Abderraouf Ar Ravabdoy.
According to her, Russia has no other political goals than to make a decisive contribution to the destruction of ISIS, Gazeta.ru reports.
