The speaker of Russia’s Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko, said that Russian President Vladimir Putin may pay an official visit to Ashgabat next year.
"I think that the President of the Russian Federation will definitely pay a visit to Turkmenistan next year," she said.
"As a rule, the main decisions are made at summit level, and decisions regarding the future and the strategy of expanding our economic interaction will be prepared soon," TASS cited her as saying.
