Russian Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko has been awarded the Order of Dostyk (Order of Friendship) by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Akorda press service reported.
Matviyenko was awarded for a great contribution to the consolidation and development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, the decree reads.
The decree comes into force from the date of its signing
