Chairperson of the Russian Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko spoke by phone on Tuesday with Armenian Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan.
According to the Armenian parliament’s press service, the sides discussed issues pertaining to the agenda of the Armenian-Russian relations, as well as cooperation in the CIS IPA and other platforms.
"Organizational issues of Matviyenko’s planned official visit to Armenia were also discussed," the statement reads.
