Maximum unemployment benefit may be almost doubled in Russia

The Russian Ministry of Labour is currently working on a bill to increase the maximum unemployment benefits by 70%, head of department Maksim Topilin said in an interview with NTV.

"We are preparing a bill, which is to allow us to redistribute the allocated funds to the benefits in favor of those people who have a lot of experience and who are in a really difficult situation,’’ Lenta.ru cites him as saying.
