About 1.5 million people took part in the mass festivities in Moscow. The events took place without serious incidents, the official website of the Moscow Office of the Ministry of Interior reports.
"About 1.5 million people took part in the festive events on May Day. As of 16:30, no incidents or serious violations of public order were allowed," the report reads.
