The European Union is considering resuming negotiations with Baku on a new strategic partnership agreement, Report writes, citing the European Commission's Foreign Policy Service.

Negotiations could recommence once the priorities for the agreement are finalized and mutually approved.

The EU believes such a partnership would significantly strengthen its ties with Azerbaijan.

Brussels reiterated its full support for the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process, the agreements previously reached, and the parties' stated intention to avoid further legal disputes.

Additionally, the EU has declared its readiness to participate in key regional infrastructure projects, such as the Middle Corridor and the TRIPP-related initiatives, though specific commitments on connectivity issues remain under discussion.

The European side did not comment on the status of its strategic partnership agreement with Armenia or the reasons for its delayed publication.
