Turkey and the EU have agreed on a plan of prompt action directed to control the flow of refugees from the East to the European continent, European mass media reports with a reference to the German government.
So, the government of Turkey and Greece will jointly patrol the waters of the Eastern Aegean sea. Ankara will protect its own sea borders more carefully.
It is expected that these measures will help to stop illegal migrants carriers. In addition, 6 new camps for refugees are to be created in Turkey.
According to preliminary information, these measures will be discussed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at a meeting with the leadership of the European Union, Tass reports.
