A Brigadier-General of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), Hossein Fada, with the pseudonym Zolfakar, has been killed in fighting in Syria, the Iranian press reports.
Fada Hossein served as one of the commanders of the Fatamiyun Revolutionary Guards Brigade. "The general was a military advisor to Iran, he was killed during fighting between the Syrian government army and the terrorist group Daesh, Tass reports.
