Iran intends to double oil exports to Japan after sanctions against the country were lifted, the Iranian news agency Mehr reports.
"Iran is to double oil exports to Japan as soon as the international sanctions are lifted," Tass cites the statement.
At the moment Iran exports 350,000 barrels of oil per day to Japan.
Teheran "intends to obtain at least 10% of the Japanese market after the lifting of the international sanctions,’’ the executive director of the Agency for International Affairs of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Mohsen Gamsari said.
