Israel and the radical Palestinian movement Hamas have signed a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. This was reported on the evening of January 16 by informed sources.
According to Al Arabiya TV channel, the signed agreement also includes provisions on the exchange of hostages.
The parties have made final amendments to the document, Al Arabiya reports.
