Media: Spain bans transit of US weapons for Israel

Spain has begun inspecting and blocking ships carrying U.S. weapons and military equipment to Israel through its ports, according to El País.

The ban affects transit through the Rota and Morón de la Frontera bases, covering U.S.-made arms, ammunition, and military hardware.

While Spanish military will intercept vessels making intermediate stops en route to Israel, the inspections exclude US ships and military transport aircraft.

Spain is a member of the 12-nation coalition providing financial support to Palestine.
