Turkey may create its own domestic missile defense complex without purchasing it from other countries, the deputy head of the Secretariat of the Defense Industry (SOP) of Turkey Ismail Demir said today in an interview with Turkish TV channel NTV.
"We haven't rejected the long-range missile project. We had long-term negotiations with China to reevaluate our national needs. And we aim to create such complexes ourselves," Tass cites him as saying.
