US authorities are reportedly considering cyber operations against Iran in response to the violent suppression of anti-government protests, according to The Telegraph.

The newspaper reports that targeting Iran's information infrastructure is being considered as a potential response to protester deaths. Although scenarios for military intervention have been presented to US President Donald Trump, senior US officials reportedly believe the time for such action has not yet come.

This follows earlier statements by Trump that the US could take action against Iran following casualties during clashes between protesters and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
