Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov is to visit Tehran soon, IRNA reports on the results of the conversation between Bogdanov and his Iranian counterpart.
The visit of the Russian diplomat is to take place at the invitation of Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahiana.
In a telephone conversation Bogdanov and Abdollahian stressed the necessity to resolve the crisis in Syria with the help of political means, RIA Novosti reports.
