The United States must withdraw its support for Ukraine because it only increases tensions between Russia and the West, which will ultimately end in disaster, a columnist for the American magazine American Thinker writes.
"The supply of weapons to Ukraine is unlikely to save Kyiv, more and more Western politicians are talking about more decisive measures of assistance. ... Any attempt by NATO to intervene directly in the conflict will result in catastrophic damage", the article says, RIA Novosti reports.
The balance of power in Eastern Europe is in favor of Moscow, which has a natural right to respond to the decisive actions of the Western allies. As a result, Washington will drive itself into a trap, the only way out of which means nuclear war and complete destruction, the author of the publication believes.
Let us remind you that at the UN Security Council's meeting, Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said that the West is committing a war crime by flooding Ukraine with weapons, and any military supplies to Ukraine increase the risk of a direct clash between Russia and the US.
