Medvedev: Russian economy starts to grow

Russia's economy has adapted to external pressures and sanctions, starting to grow, the country's Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said, adding that these positive trends need to be maintained and strengthened.

"The volume of investments in fixed assets is being restored, freight turnover and exports are increasing, while inflation remains at low positions," the prime minister said at the meeting.

In this regard, the head of the Cabinet pointed to the need to maintain and strengthen the positive trends.

At the same time, Medvedev noted that "the situation did not improve due to the uncertainties, so we have to focus on our own capabilities," the prime minister said, noting that Russia has enough resources to withstand any pressure, RIA Novosti reports.
