Medvedev: decline in people’s income most painful economic shock of 2015

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at the Gaidar Forum that the fall of living standards is the most painful economic consequence of the last year.

"The most important and most serious thing for us is a decline in people’s income. Many people became poorer, the middle class was hurt, and these, perhaps, are the most painful consequences of the economic shocks of last year," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
