A plenary session of the Open Innovation Forum in Skolkovo was interrupted after blast-like sounds were heard in the building where the forum was being held.
The plenary session's guests included the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, the Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, government officials and businessmen. After the sounds were heard, the guests and participants were evacuated from the building.
The Skolkovo fire department said that the sounds had been the result of a short circuit. After the short circuit a fire occurred in one of the domes of the building, the source in the Skolkovo fire department added. Shortly after the incident, the forum re-opened.
